'Tis the season to be... harried and stressed? Not at all! This is the season to cultivate gratitude and that is what this wonderful workshop is all about. All are welcome, some yoga experience is preferred but not mandatory - all postures will be given alternatives to keep participants comfortable.
Join Meghann Lynch for an immersive, online, 2-hour yoga and essential oils workshop where we will be cultivating gratitude. This workshop will be a gentle, holistic Hatha class involving philosophy (how to cultivate gratitude), mantra ("I feel gratitude), breathwork, gentle physical postures, gentle meditation and essential oils to enhance our postures and emotions.
Essential oils are powerful healing substances that allow us to access our limbic system - a deep part of our brain that can affect our physical and mental states. When combined in a thoughtful and intentional way with a holistic yoga practice, we are able to go deeper into our yoga, experiencing postures more fully, and our emotions and healing more deeply.
This workshop includes a 15 minute preparation talk, a 90-minute gentle hatha class, and a 15 minute closing where we can discuss how we felt during the class, answer any questions, and be together in community. You will also receive a package of essential oils to use during your workshop. If you have a diffuser, that is ideal, but not essential - we can work with just the oils!
Recommended in addition to your yoga mat are 2 blocks, a strap, a blanket, and perhaps a bolster. If you do not have these, don't worry! Contact us and we will talk about how to use what you have around the house instead of props.
